The Richard-Ginori Company was founded in 1735 by Carlo Ginori near his home in Tuscany. In 1896 it merged with Richard Ceramics to form Richard-Ginori and the factory was closed through bankruptcy in January 2013.
This lovely flat cup with deep saucer set was made in 1984 and is in the hard-to-find Red Currant pattern. The cup measures 3 1/4" in diameter, not including the handle and is marked with a C-84. The saucer measures 5 1/4" in diameter and is 1" deep and is marked with an F-84. An extra saucer is included that would make a perfect little snack bowl.
All three pieces are in excellent, like-new, condition.
